The Wiltz clinic opened in 2003, at the request of general dentists in the north of the country who wanted to be able to refer their patients without sending them more than an hour’s drive away.
It is the group’s northernmost site. It provides orthodontics for children, teenagers and adults, following the same protocols as the other clinics, and works closely with patients’ regular dentists in the region.
The clinic is on Grand-Rue, with step-free access and served by public transport.
A word from the clinic lead
« Wiltz carries on a family story that began in 1981: care close to home, with the rigour of a specialist clinic. Every treatment plan is discussed as a team, and I remain personally involved in complex cases. »
Good to know — Wiltz is an orthodontics site, where routine imaging is carried out on site. Only the Cone Beam 3D scan requires a visit to the Cabinet d’Imagerie Dentaire, in Luxembourg-Merl. Root canal treatment is offered at the Hôpital Kirchberg (HRS) or in Luxembourg-Merl.
The Cone Beam (CBCT), the panoramic X-ray and the lateral cephalogram involve radiation. They are carried out by referral only, from a dentist or a doctor, who defines the area to be examined.
End of this route
This examination can only be carried out by referral.
Speak to your regular dentist or your doctor: they decide whether an imaging examination is needed, which one, and on which area. They will then give you a referral.
