Portrait of Dr. Eve Maurer

Areas of expertise

Orthodontics practised exclusively, with a particular interest in the aesthetics of the smile.

A background as a general dental practitioner makes it possible to approach every orthodontic treatment with an overall view of oral health. A beautiful smile is not just a matter of aligned teeth: it also has to sit within a mouth that is healthy, balanced and functional.

Care covers children, teenagers and adults, using conventional techniques as well as aligners, according to each patient’s needs and expectations.

Patient approach

My priority is to give every patient care that is personal and attentive. Every smile, every situation and every patient is unique. So I take the time to listen to what is expected, to assess what is needed and to explain the various treatment options clearly.

I believe that an orthodontic treatment should be built together with the patient. It matters to me that everyone understands the stages of their treatment, the goals being pursued and the options open to them, so that they can make informed choices and move forward with confidence.

« In my daily practice, I try to care for my patients as I would want a member of my own family to be cared for. That means being attentive, available, ready to listen and demanding about the quality of care, throughout the treatment. »

Motivation and commitment

What I particularly enjoy about orthodontics is being able to accompany a transformation that unfolds over time. Watching a smile change gradually month by month, seeing the functional and aesthetic changes, then discovering the satisfaction and the renewed confidence of patients at the end of treatment is a genuine source of motivation day to day.

I also value the relationship that builds up with my patients over the course of treatment. Orthodontics involves regular follow-up over several months or several years, which gives time to build a genuine relationship of trust and to support each patient as they progress.

Personal side

Someone curious and demanding of herself: deepening her knowledge, regularly questioning her own practice and continuing to train, in order to offer patients the most suitable and most up-to-date solutions.

Beyond the technical side, a successful treatment is above all one in which the patient feels listened to, supported and confident.
